Taylor Donsker "When a Tree Falls"

Renowned woodworker and designer, Taylor Donsker, acquired a bit of a treasure in the form of a century old Walnut tree in Northern California. His plan was to transport it to a Mill nearby and break it down into flats so that the drying process could begin and in five years time, he’d be able to use the wood for his own designs. We jumped at the chance to tag along and learn more about this incredible world. We spent two days capturing every aspect of the process and cut together a quick teaser in order to show an audience the level of work that comes with making each of Taylor’s works.
